Barra Lodge
The popular mid range Barra Resort is located in Inhambane, just north of Maputo in Mozambique. The dive centre is nestled among palm trees on the shores of the warm Indian Ocean. Apart from the friendly Mozambican people and breathtaking scenery, the region is fast becoming world famous for its spectacular diving. The diving here in Mozambique compares with some of the best in the world and is still a relatively well-kept secret. From the awesome sightings of Manta Rays, Whale Sharks and Humpback Whales, to the sought after Harlequin Shrimp, Frogfish and Sea Horses - there is something to please everyone.

Casitas
There are 3 different types of accommodation at Barra Lodge, 20 Casitas made of thatch, brick and reeds creating a charming atmosphere.
Self Catering Cottages
Barra Lodge offers a selection of cottages with two or three bedrooms, open plan living area, kitchen, shower and hand-basin with hot and cold water and a separate toilet. The cottages are serviced daily. This traditional style of accommodation sets the scene for an unforgettable holiday.
Bunk Houses
There are 2 bunkhouses each accommodating 16 guests. The bunkhouses have 4 rooms with 4 beds in each and a central living area with fridge and gas cooker. There are communal male and female ablution facilities.

Activities at Barra Lodge
Barra Lodge offers an assortment of activities. Scuba diving, catamaran yacht, charter board fishing, horse ridding, quad biking, paddle skiing, surfboarding, doggie boards, dingy sailing and snake rides.
